About Matthew
Matt Rudo is an energetic but level-headed attorney who has experience in many different areas of the law including personal injury, real estate, trusts and estates, and criminal law. However, Matt primarily focuses his practice on family law, helping his clients with issues that include divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, marital property, separation agreements, and domestic violence. Besides practicing as a litigator, he has also been trained in mediation and collaborative law, being comfortable in any of those settings. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked in the financial services industry, gaining experience in areas such as investments, insurance, and mortgages. He also invested in the local real estate market, acquiring invaluable knowledge of the market and experience with negotiating several different types of transactions.
Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in 1997 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2011, after graduating a semester early. During law school, Matt was employed as a law clerk by Winn C. Friddell, a partner at Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell and Grenzer, P.C. before joining the Law Office of Kent L. Greenberg, P.A. in the same position. Upon his admittance to the bar, Matt was promoted to be Mr. Greenberg's associate attorney and he been trying cases in Maryland circuit and district courts since that time. Matt has also become a certified best interest attorney, and he has argued before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association.
Matt and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and reside in Owings Mills, Maryland. In his free time, when not coaching or enjoying his children's extracurricular activities, he enjoys playing golf, spending time with his dog, as well as supporting the Ravens, Orioles, and Maryland Terrapins.
