About Mayleidys

Mayleidys Porraspita, is the founding partner of Porra Law.  Ms. Porraspita earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University with Honors in 2002 and was recognized on the Dean’s List and President’s Honor Roll. Upon admittance to the University of Miami School of Law, Ms. Porraspita was recognized on the Dean’s List and was a Moot Court Competition Finalist.

During her years as a law student she clerked at Ferrell Schultz, et. al.,  in the area of Real Estate Law and Family Law as well as Worker’s Compensation.  Upon admittance to the Florida Bar, Ms. Porraspita focused her efforts primarily in the area of Worker’s Compensation defense, representing multiple insurance companies, corporations and government entities throughout the state of Florida.  She later expanded her experience to personal injury defense litigation with a focus in the area of P.I.P. defense.

After years of experience representing corporations and insurance companies, Ms. Porraspita saw a need for quality-personalized representation for those seeking legal assistance.  As such, she decided to open Porra Law with a focus on Family Law and Personal Injury.

Today, Ms. Porraspita is proud to be a zealous advocate for both her Family Law and personal injury clients.  Providing personalized service, reasonable rates and dedicated representation, Ms. Porraspita’s goal is to guide each client through the process from inception to resolution. Ms. Porraspita strives to resolve issues through mediation and aggressive negotiations, however, is prepared in every case to proceed to litigate the issues before the Judge should an amicable, favorable resolution for the client is not reached.
