Mr. Meissner, as an experienced criminal defense attorney with a central office located in Nyack, Rockland County New York. Mr. Meissner has extensive experience defending individuals in both minor and significant criminal prosecutions, whether felonies or misdemeanors, whether white collar crimes or other crimes and has appeared in many media outlets including FOX Business, CNN, CNBC, the New York Times, NY Post, Newsday, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Down Jones, and many others. Handling everything from assaults, weapons possession charges, drug possession, larceny and sexual assaults to financial crimes, his focus on doing everything possible to keep one's record clean and to move on with one's life.

As a former prosecutor in Manhattan and for the New York Attorney General, Mr. Meissner is very familiar with the Courts and the DA's offices throughout New York so as to assist his clients to avoid jail time or blemishes on their records.

With over 27 years of criminal prosecution and defense experience Mr Meissner is well known in the legal community. Upon graduating law school,earning degrees from both Hofstra University and New York University Law Schools, Mr. Meissner worked for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office Trial Division for seven years prosecuting a variety of street crimes and organized crime. Mr. Meissner then worked for the New York State Attorney General's office Financial Crimes Division for four years where he prosecuted a variety of white collar related crimes including financial schemes, internet schemes, concert ticket frauds, financial frauds, and racketeering. After leaving the Attorney General's office and working for a criminal defense firm in Manhattan Mr. Meissner opened his own firm in 2001 where he has represented people in prosecutions throughout lower New York State and City ranging from federal online poker business prosecutions and large scale ponzi schemes to minor crimes of trespass, assault, domestic violence, sexual assaults, petite larceny and other crimes.

ROSENFELD V. SCHREIBER

Respondent: Attorney for the respondent, Dr. Steven Rosenfeld. Joel Schreiber, defendant appeals an order from the Supreme Court of New York County. The order denied their motion to dismiss the complaint against them. Upon review of the original complaints made by the plaintiff, the subsequent hearing and the arguments made by the defendants/appellants, the court finds their contentions unavailing. The original judgment is affirmed.
