About Meredith
Meredith Milby joined the firm as an associate in early 2008.
Licensed in both Georgia and Florida, Ms. Milby brings with her experience in handling wills, trusts, estate planning matters and tax controversies. She also assists clients with profit and not-for-profit business issues, including entity formation and corporate and partnership tax planning.
Native to Georgia but new to Gainesville, Ms. Milby is excited to be a contributing part of the Gainesville community. She is a member of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County and has assisted in the formation of WomenSource, Inc., a joint effort of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County, the North Georgia Community Foundation and United Way of Hall County. Ms. Milby attends First Presbyterian Church where she volunteers with the Safe Havens Program.
A graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, Ms. Milby received her law degree cum laude from the University of Georgia and her masters of law (in taxation) from New York University. Ms. Milby is admitted to the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Supreme Courts of both Georgia and Florida.
