I never gave up on a client even after he had given up and won an acquittal after he had lost all hope of exoneration and freedom. I represented someone pro bono who could not afford to pay for legal fees.

I can generally ask an efficient series of questions to obtain the relevant information needed to assess your case, e.g. How did you come in contact with the police? Did you make a statement? Did you consent to a search? Were there witnesses to the event in question?

I previously participated in a Volunteers in Parole program to mentor juvenile offenders previously adjudicated of the most serious crimes as they integrate back into the community after serving extended periods of time at juvenile detention facilities. I also participated in a mentor program for UNLV law students and have recently mentored a college graduate who plans to attend law school in the fall.

• Criminal Defense | Client was charged with five counts of rape by two separate child accusers where our client faced 175 years to life in Nevada State Prison. During trial, Michael Becker along with attorney Daniel Page questioned the credibility of the accusers as well as the sheriff's deputy on the case. After the week-long trial, the jury deliberated for only two hours before acquitting the defendant. | NOT GUILTY VERDICT ON ALL FIVE COUNTS. Criminal Defense | Clients were charged with a felony charge of "prohibited person in possession of a firearm" and misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession. Michael Becker persuaded the D.A. to drop the felony as well as the marijuana charges. Clients just had to pay a small fine. | FELONY AND MISDEMEANOR CHARGES DISMISSED. Criminal Defense | Client went to trial on charges of the Nevada crime of battery with a deadly weapon and the Nevada crime of battery with substantial bodily harm. Las Vegas Defense Group argued to the jury that our client was not the aggressor in the altercation. | NOT GUILTY VERDICT ON BOTH FELONY COUNTS Criminal Defense | Client went to trial for allegedly conspiring to commit the Nevada crime of kidnapping, which carries a possible life sentence. Las Vegas Defense Group argued to the jury that he was too intoxicated to understand the intentions of the alleged co-conspirators. | NOT GUILTY VERDICT
