I was retained in a custody case where the parties had not reached an agreement and were litigating for more than 18 months. I was able to negotiate an amicable custody agreement and bring resolution to the case in less than a month.
How did you build a successful practice?I have built a successful practice by treating my clients the way I would want to be treated under similar circumstances. I am hard working and responsive to my client's inquiries. I have had a successful track record bringing resolution to the majority of the cases I have been retained on.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Honesty and Integrity. An attorney who zealously represents the interest of his/her client and fights for issues that are important to the client.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Very important to know the judges, local rules and family court facilitators in child custody matters. This local knowledge can make a difference in the approach the lawyer takes on specific issues involved in the case.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?I can uncover the real issues in the case, and provide a road map of the necessary steps to take to bring about resolution in a cost effective and judicious manner.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?Date of Marriage, Date of Separation, Salaries/Pay of both parties, children and their date of birth. A thumbnail description of the assets in the marriage.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?The most commented difference my clients tell me is my responsiveness. The second thing is my focus on the goals my client is seeking in the case. I focus on what is important to them and their goals for the case.
