About Michael
Michael prides himself on fighting for clients facing serious criminal charges. His advocacy often extends beyond the courtroom as he frequently assists clients with potential collateral repercussions from their legal troubles. Michael is familiar with the uniqueness of each individual case and will tailor his representation to those needs. There are no small cases -- Michael handles everything from DUIs and simple misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. After several years as a prosecutor and General Counsel for the Broward County Police Benevolence Association (PBA), Michael White started his own practice focused on protecting individuals accused of crime.
While serving in the State Attorney’s Office, he was responsible for investigating and prosecuting hundreds of cases across numerous divisions in County and Circuit Court, including jury trials, motions to suppress, pretrial motions and non-jury trials. In 2018, Michael was nominated by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) for Prosecutor of the Year for the state of Florida.
At the PBA, Michael represented police officers accused of wrongdoing either criminally or administratively.
He also negotiated collective bargaining agreements for numerous police agencies with cities throughout Broward County, Florida.
