Questions & Answers

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

When looking for an attorney, experience and awards aren't the only aspects to take into consideration. An attorney should be honest and dedicated. An attorney should be knowledgeable and confident. An attorney should communicate well and communicate often. An attorney should be one who you can trust and rely upon. An attorney should be someone you feel comfortable with and someone whom you can open up to freely. An attorney should have your best interests at all times, and be willing to sacrifice making a dollar over selling out a client. I, as well as the other attorneys at Celeste Law Firm, are proud to have and maintain the aforementioned qualities. We enjoy coming in to work every day because we know we will make a positive difference in someone's life.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge of the law is important, but local knowledge of other aspects of a case can be even more crucial, which includes knowledge and relationship with doctors, other attorneys, and judges.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

We will provide whatever information is necessary to determine whether someone has a potential case or not. We will also provide contact information for another attorney if the subject matter is not something we do personally.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

Generally: name, phone number, and how the caller found out about our law firm. Workers' Compensation: employer's name, date of accident, circumstances of accident, who was told about the accident, workers' compensation carrier and related information, and whether someone is already receiving workers' compensation benefits, including doctor's names. Personal Injury: date of accident, circumstances and information about accident, insurance information, and the doctor's someone has seen as a result of the accident. Social Security: application and denial for Social Security, list of physical and mental issues contributing to someone's disabled status, medication and doctor list, and insurance information, if any.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I have an out-of-the-box mindset that allows me to think creatively and plan multiple steps ahead before making a decision. I am quick on my feet, and have the experience required to thoroughly pursue a case to the conclusion. I am personable and trustworthy and always put my client's interest first and foremost. I am dedicated to my profession and all of my client's. I have over 25 years of trial experience and am Board Certified in Workers' Compensation.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The opportunity to help. The opportunity to turn someone's life around. The opportunity to make a difference.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Hunting, horseback riding, running, working out, skating, playing ice hockey, and competing in the world games for lacrosse.
