Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I prevented a client from frustrating her estate planning by leaving her major asset to her children rather than disposing of it by her Will which created a special needs trust for her disabled son. Had we not made her change the beneficiary designation on her securities account, it would have required an unnecessary guardianship application for her child and the probable loss of lifetime government benefits.
