Attorney Maccagnan has worked with Fortune 500 companies in a variety of taxation issues. He has experience in transactional, corporate and partnership matters including taxation aspects of debt structuring, mergers and acquisitions, financing and leasing of equipment, real estate, business formations and entertainment contracts. His practice today focuses on a wide variety of legal issues, including: Individual Income Tax Planning, Wills and Estate Administration, Elder Law, Zoning and Land Use, Entertainment Law, Insurance Law, Personal Injury, Business Formations, Contract Law among other topics.
Attorney Maccagnan is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Hampton Township Zoning Hearing Board. In this capacity he presides at hearings for variance requests to the municipal zoning ordinance, adjudicates the cases with other Board members and writes opinions granting or denying the requested variance, time extensions, etc.
Attorney Maccagnan is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Attorney Maccagnan is married to his wife Michelle and they have three children who keep them busy in their free time. He also enjoys fly-fishing, snowboarding, woodworking and travel.
