Before attending law school, Laney was a collegiate swimmer, competing at both Indiana State University and East Carolina University—an experience that instilled in her discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities she brings to her legal practice today. Laney was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2025.
