My focus is family law, and my approach is focused on helping clients navigate the complex and emotional experience of family law issues including divorce, determining parenting time, child custody and support, dividing property, and deciding alimony. My goal is always the best possible outcome given my client’s objectives. I also seek to minimize the negative emotional and economic impact of the divorce process on children within the family system. (Studies have shown that children in high conflict divorces do not do as well later in life, as the children in low conflict divorces.) While I am a fierce advocate for my clients, I never deliberately fan the flames of conflict and anger that may hinder the process of resolving the case or that eventually have a harmful effect on the children. I guide my clients through every step of the divorce process, from filing the initial petition, preparing for and attending mediation, participating in settlement conferences, and if necessary, preparing and appearing for trial. While most of my cases settle out of court, I have the experience to manage your case through a full-blown divorce trial. My trial experience in divorce, includes the establishment of child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance/alimony, and the division of marital property. I have also litigated modification of child custody and parenting time for marital and non-marital children, modification of child support, enforcement of orders for spousal maintenance and child support, third party and grandparent custody and visitation, orders for protection, and harassment restraining orders. Prior to becoming an attorney, I owned a small business, and I draw on that experience to negotiate fair and equitable property settlements, parenting plans, and even prenuptial agreements that help protect the rights and assets of soon to become newlyweds.

Attorney John Waldron has been in private practice for over 30 years. He was formerly a partner in a law firm in downtown Minneapolis before establishing Waldron Law Offices, Ltd. in 1996. Mr. Waldron takes great pride in practicing law as a means to help others achieve their goals and resolve complex problems.

Jim Lindell has specialized in civil litigation during his entire career and is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Mr. Lindell has been voted a Super Lawyer® in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation in annual polls of Minnesota lawyers conducted by Minnesota Law & Politics and Mpls/St. Paul magazine. Jim was invited to membership in the American Society of Legal Advocates, and in 2012 was named Attorney of the Year by The Minnesota Lawyer. He practices in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Jim is a native of Litchfield, Minnesota. Contributing to his effectiveness in his practice is his broad scope of work experience, including: United States Army, 1st Lt. 1966-1969 Management positions in federal and state government Staff aide to the governor of Minnesota Construction Firefighting (smoke jumping) for the U.S. Forest Service Life-long interest in flying, private pilot license since 1985. Mr. Lindell is highly regarded by both clients and fellow attorneys. He enjoys a busy workers' compensation and personal injury practice and receives numerous referrals of those cases from attorneys in other specialties. He is active in the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota and has served as a board member, officer and dean of that organization. Lindell is rated "a.v." by Martindale Hubble - the highest rating of competence and ethics available. He is also a qualified neutral arbitrator and mediator. When Jim is not practicing law, he is challenging himself anew. Working on his Wisconsin cabin (which he built from the ground up with his dad), learning to speak Russian, and learning to play the piano are his most recent endeavors. Besides the firm's main office in downtown Minneapolis, Jim maintains an office at his lake home in Webb Lake, Wisconsin.

Prior to private practice, she worked in city and state government mostly on issues of diversity and civil rights. ​Ms. Sullivan grew up in North Minneapolis, served in the United States Army and upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, joined the Minnesota National Guard. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management (BSB), Hamline University School of Law (JD) and the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Management (MBA). ​Practicing law is a career; however, Ms. Sullivan has been called by God to serve His people. She served for several years as Congregational Care Pastor at her church. She has a passion for empowerment through education and leadership. She is also the founder and CEO of HER Story, Inc. which is an organization that seeks to provide a forum for women to share their personal stories in an effort to heal, empower and restore one another. HER Story, Inc. provides an opportunity for women to support one another in various aspects of life including financial, emotional, educational and spiritual. Through HER Story, Inc. Ms. Sullivan hosts a Facebook group that inspires women to think, to pray, to make change and to grow through the use of daily posts. In addition, Ms. Sullivan hosts and annual retreat that allows space to just be still! Ms. Sullivan has finished her first book “Activate Your Purpose: A Guide to Spiritual Goal Setting” which was released October 2018. This is a self-help publication that encourages the reader to take their spiritual growth seriously, to set goals, to place and to be intentional. ​Ms. Sullivan is a dynamic public speaker, trainer and small group facilitator. She is passionate about the personal advancement of women, empowerment and transformational change. She has presented as a keynote speaker at colleges, churches, community events and other forums. She has provided small group training to church leadership, facilitated courses in leadership, vision casting and goals setting. The goal of every presentation, speech, training and facilitation is provide a mechanism for change, for growth, for inspiration and for empowerment. The projected outcome is to give hope, to encourage, to spark a flame in the individual that will encourage them to assess where they are in life, what they want from life, and what has to change in order to get it. Target organizations and clients are colleges and universities, businesses, churches, non profit organizations and any organization that values the people that it serves or employs. Ms. Sullivan also works with individuals and small groups through personal coaching and training

Ryan Peterson is a former debt collection attorney turned consumer rights expert and advocate. After graduating from William Mitchell law school in 2008, Ryan opened his own criminal defense firm. In 2010 Ryan joined a Minneapolis-based debt collection firm. There, he quickly learned the nuances of rights and regulations regarding consumers. As time went on, Ryan developed a deep desire to work for consumers - to protect individuals who are wrongly treated, often knowingly, by big business and banking institutions.
