My focus is family law, and my approach is focused on helping clients navigate the complex and emotional experience of family law issues including divorce, determining parenting time, child custody and support, dividing property, and deciding alimony. I also seek to minimize the negative emotional and economic impact of the divorce process on children within the family system. (Studies have shown that children in high conflict divorces do not do as well later in life, as the children in low conflict divorces.) While I am a fierce advocate for my clients, I never deliberately fan the flames of conflict and anger that may hinder the process of resolving the case or that eventually have a harmful effect on the children. I guide my clients through every step of the divorce process, from filing the initial petition, preparing for and attending mediation, participating in settlement conferences, and if necessary, preparing and appearing for trial. While most of my cases settle out of court, I have the experience to manage your case through a full-blown divorce trial. My trial experience in divorce, includes the establishment of child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance/alimony, and the division of marital property. I have also litigated modification of child custody and parenting time for marital and non-marital children, modification of child support, enforcement of orders for spousal maintenance and child support, third party and grandparent custody and visitation, orders for protection, and harassment restraining orders. Prior to becoming an attorney, I owned a small business, and I draw on that experience to negotiate fair and equitable property settlements, parenting plans, and even prenuptial agreements that help protect the rights and assets of soon to become newlyweds.

Max Keller is the founding partner at Keller Criminal Defense Attorneys. He focuses his practice on defending clients facing criminal charges, including DWI, sex crimes, drug crimes, and probation violations. After graduating from law school in Washington, D.C., Max Keller clerked for three judges at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, which allowed him to study many briefs and see many oral arguments. Mr. Keller then prosecuted DWI’s in the Attorney General’s Office for about five years, including handling many appeals. In 2003, Max left the Attorney General’s Office to go into private practice. He worked as a part-time public defender in Southwestern Minnesota for the first year and half after leaving government service, as well as having a busy private law firm representing individuals in criminal, bankruptcy, immigration, and family law matters. Stuart Nostdahl practices in the areas of civil litigation, workers' compensation, personal injury, and estate planning and probate. Stuart brings a broad range of experience to his practice thanks to his years working as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen C. Aldrich in Minnesota's Fourth Judicial District. There, he worked extensively in a wide variety of civil, criminal, and family law cases. Originally from North Dakota, Stuart moved to Minnesota to attend law school at the University of Minnesota. He now resides with his wife and sons in South Minneapolis. In his spare time, Stuart enjoys traveling to lake country and taking in all the culture and entertainment that the Twin Cities have to offer.

Amanda Furth has represented people with workers’ compensation and other personal injuries since 2003. She enjoys helping clients move forward to find the best medical care to help them recover and rehabilitation services to help them get back to work. Amanda graduated from St. Olaf College in 2000 Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science and Hispanic Studies. She then moved on to law school at Hamline University School of Law, graduating in 2003. While in law school, she joined Osterbauer Law Firm as a law clerk and began to learn the personal injury and workers’ compensation fields. Amanda has been admitted to practice law in Minnesota since 2003. She was named a Rising Star attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, recognizing her as a top workers’ compensation attorney in the state of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association, as well as the Amdahl Inn of Court. Originally from New Ulm, MN, Amanda enjoys baseball, festivals and German food. She is an avid sports fan who attends many Twins, Timberwolves, and Gophers games. She serves on the board of the Harold Mezile North Community YMCA Youth & Teen Enrichment Center in North Minneapolis and is active in the St. Olaf College Alumni groups.

Ryan Peterson is a former debt collection attorney turned consumer rights expert and advocate. After graduating from William Mitchell law school in 2008, Ryan opened his own criminal defense firm. In 2010 Ryan joined a Minneapolis-based debt collection firm. There, he quickly learned the nuances of rights and regulations regarding consumers. As time went on, Ryan developed a deep desire to work for consumers - to protect individuals who are wrongly treated, often knowingly, by big business and banking institutions.
