Joseph Weston has been in practice for 40 years. He is a certified mediator and arbitrator in South Carolina, and utilizes his many years of litigation experience to help parties successfully resolve their cases through mediation. He has handled thousands of contested cases in a wide variety of practice areas, and has tried over 250 jury trials to verdict in the State and Federal Courts of South Carolina. Mr. Weston has been peer-rated AV Preeminent (highest possible rating) through Martindale Hubbell ®, and he has been listed in South Carolina Super Lawyers ® since 2020. Mr. Weston received his B.A. degree cum laude from Temple University in 1983, and graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1986. He has been a frequent lecturer on personal injury and insurance topics, and co-authored An Analysis of Current Theories of Liability, published by the South Carolina Law Review (1994). He also teaches undergraduate business law and graduate level corporate governance classes as an Adjunct Instructor at the College of Charleston.

Julie Craig is a Member of Weston Craig Anthony. Prior to joining the firm, Julie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Markley Dennis, Jr. Julie received her law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2011, and her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 2008. While in law school, Julie served on the Editorial Board for the Charleston Law Review.

Edward Pritchard was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on March 17, 1962. Edward graduated from the University of South Carolina (B.S. 1984), and the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 1987). While in law school, Edward was on the National Dean’s Honor List and was a member of the Order of Wig and Robe. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Randall T. Bell, South Carolina Court of Appeals. In August of 1988, Edward joined the law firm of Sinkler & Boyd, P.A., where he remained nearly twelve years, the last six of which he was a partner. In 2002, Edward formed The Pritchard Law Firm, which has expanded and become Pritchard & Elliott, Attorneys And Counselors At Law, LLC. Edward is admitted to the South Carolina Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, as well as the South Carolina Bar Association. He is currently a member of the S.C. Bar Association Nominating Committee, a member of the Charleston County Bar Association Executive Committee, as well as a member of the S.C. Bar Association House of Delegates. Edward also serves on the board of the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority and is a former member of the City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Zoning and former chairman of the City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Site Design. Edward is the co-author of the S.C. chapter of Defense Research Institute Bad Faith Compendium. Edward has extensive experience in civil and administrative trial practice and appellate practice. His practice area includes Insurance Coverage and Extra-Contractual Litigation Defense, Commercial and Business Litigation, Commercial Transactions, Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation and Appellate Practice.

Frank L.P. Barnwell is a practicing lawyer in the state of South Carolina specializing in Accident & Injury; Estate; Lawsuit & Dispute; Real Estate; and Traffic Law. Mr. Barnwell received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1976.

Charlie is originally from Columbia, South Carolina. He attended The Citadel, graduating with a B.A. in English. After graduating from The Citadel, he attended University of South Carolina School of law, where he was named to the dean’s list. During law school, Charlie worked as a law clerk at several different litigation firms in preparation to be a trial attorney in the future. After graduation from law school, he served as the judicial law clerk for Circuit Court Judge D. Craig Brown, where he further gained insight into trial advocacy and civil litigation. After completing this judicial clerkship, he joined Schiller and Hamilton out of a desire to represent members of the South Carolina community who are injured and need a zealous advocate to help them be made whole.

Patrick Aulton Chisum is a partner at Gruenloh Law Firm where he handles many different kinds of cases including: Personal injury Criminal defense Magistrate & probate court matters He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2007 and the Charleston School of Law in 2012. During law school, Patrick worked for the Georgetown County Public Defenders office, SCDHEC Ocean Coastal Resource Management and was a volunteer Guardian ad Litem. Prior to law school, he worked as an Estate Clerk for the Honorable Judge Amy McCulloch in the Richland County Probate Court. Patrick has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was also named as a 2014 South Carolina’s Outstanding Young Lawyers and Top 10 Under 40 by the Nationa Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
