Ron knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a profession centered around helping others. Of course, there are many ways to be of service. Yet Ron chose to apply for law school so he'd have the power to challenge the status quo and improve society as a whole.

While working for one of the largest personal injury firms in Idaho, Stephen Blackburn learned that injury victims need more than an initial interview and a case manager. Recovering from serious injury takes time and effort, and Stephen Blackburn believes that his clients deserve a hands-on approach so they can focus on recovering while he deals with the legal side of things. In 2003, he opened Blackburn Law to provide personal care to Idaho residents. Accordingly, Mr. Blackburn has developed a policy and practice where he personally fields every phone call that comes into his office, personally meets with those who want to learn more about their rights, and continues thereafter to communicate on a regular basis with those who become clients. He continues this practice today and enjoys direct, regular contact with clients. There are occasions when Mr. Blackburn cannot answer the phone because he is either in court or with another client, but you'll find his approach and "open door" policy refreshing. Away from the office, Mr. Blackburn is married and has five children. He enjoys exploring the Owyhee Desert on ATVs, geocaching, camping, fishing, shooting and most other forms of outdoor activity with his family.
