About Nancy
Upon admission to the Massachusetts bar, Nancy became employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an attorney with the Child Support Enforcement Division. She spent in excess of eleven years at that agency, working to obtain child support in first the Worcester area, then in the Essex and Middlesex courts. The base whom she assisted in establishing, enforcing modifying child support varied greatly.
In 1995, the laws relating to interstate child support changed significantly throughout the country, and Nancy became more focused in that area. She participated on a national level in this field, attended conferences and worked on the development of forms to be used by all states. She was also a member of a workgroup for the Northeast region, meeting to discuss ways the states could benefit from each other's policies and interstate practices and issues each state was facing. She developed training for coworkers to assist them in becoming familiar with the new laws relating to interstate issues.
Nancy was admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, the same year she left state employment to join a small firm located in Andover, Massachusetts. That firm focused on family law issues across Massachusetts. Her experience in child support proved a great asset to clients as she developed her practice in the divorce arena, as well as custody and visitation areas. She was also appointed a family law conciliator for the Middlesex Probate Court and has successfully conciliated cases for that court.
In 2006, Nancy joined the firm of Perrault & Associates, where she continues to focus her practice in family law. She is a member of the Lawrence Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association as well as the Family Law section of Massachusetts Bar Association. She is currently awaiting admission to the New Hampshire bar.
