About Natella
Natella Royzman specializes in the representation of debtors, creditors and third parties in bankruptcy matters, and has experience in both the federal and state court systems.
Ms. Royzman has represented individual and business debtors in liquidation, reorganization and litigation, as well as creditors' interests in bankruptcy proceedings, including claims analysis and defense, preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, actions regarding the dischargeability of debt, and obtaining relief from the automatic stay. She has also represented Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustees in all aspects of case administration, litigation and collections.
Ms. Royzman has dedicated much of her practice to litigation, and has represented debtors, creditors, trustees and other interested parties in bankruptcy related litigation. Ms. Royzman also has experience representing debtors and creditors in connection with state court litigation, including foreclosure and breach of guarantee actions, attachments, and receiverships.
While in law school at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Ms. Royzman was a judicial extern to the Hon. Samuel L. Bufford, United States Bankruptcy Judge (Ret.), and an extern for the United States Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee.
Ms. Royzman was formerly an associate with a large Los Angeles law firm, and prior to that, an associate with a longstanding bankruptcy boutique. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, Financial Lawyers Conference, Los Angeles County Bar Association and Beverly Hills Bar Association.
