Our founding partner, attorney James E. Kleinbaum, has been practicing law since 1994. As an experienced traffic and criminal defense lawyer, he has helped thousands of clients throughout New York protect their freedom, record and driver's licenses. As an experienced negotiator and trial lawyer, Mr. Kleinbaum has helped many businesses and individuals in civil disputes, including landlord tenant disputes and contractual disputes. Attorney Kleinbaum is pleased to assist local business owners with commercial collections and he has extensive experience in the representation of buyers, seller and lenders in real estate closings.

Steven Felsenfeld, Esq., the sole member of Felsenfeld Legal, PLLC, has been admitted to the NYS Bar since 1996 and is also admitted to the Eastern and Southern Districts of the Federal Courts of New York, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He maintains membership in the American Bar Association and its section on Labor & Employment Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution. An excellent legal researcher, writer, and orator; as appellate counsel, he has briefed and argued on many occasions and engaged in a broad array of litigation, not limited to commercial as well as Labor and Employment law, including civil rights and sexual harassment claims. He has represented numerous clients in arbitration and mediation and is qualified as a neutral in arbitration and mediation having sat on dozens of such matters. Martin Garbus has a diverse practice that consists of individuals and companies involved in politics, media, entertainment, and the arts. His courtroom skills have earned him a distinguished reputation as a trial lawyer. Mr. Garbus is experienced in every aspect of litigation and trial, from jury selection to cross-examination to summation. He has argued cases throughout the country involving constitutional, criminal, copyright, and intellectual property law. He has appeared before the United States Supreme Court, as well as trial and appellate courts throughout the United States. He has argued and written briefs that have been submitted to the United States Supreme Court; a number of which have resulted in changes in the law on a nationwide basis, including one described by Justice William Brennan as "probably the most important due process case in the Twentieth Century." An international observer in foreign elections, he was selected by President Jimmy Carter to observe and report on the elections in Venezuela and Nicaragua. Mr. Garbus also participated in drafting several constitutions and foreign laws, including the Czechoslovak constitution. He also has been involved in prisoner exchange negotiations between governments. He is the author of six books and over 30 articles in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. Mr. Garbus is featured in Shouting Fire, an award-winning documentary film about his life and career. He received the Fulbright Award for his work on International Human Rights in 2010. In 2014, University College Dublin's' Literary and Historical Society honored Mr. Garbus with the James Joyce Award for Excellence in Law, which is also the same year Trinity College awarded him for his human rights and free speech work. Mr. Garbus has also taught trial practice at Yale Law School and Constitutional law at Columbia. He has also taught classes in Beijing, China, and Prague, Czech Republic. He has lived and practiced in China and Italy as well as the United States. He authored six books and numerous articles that have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and numerous legal publications. Mr. Garbus has given hundreds of speeches on various aspects of law before Bar Associations, corporations, law schools, and on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and other television and radio networks. Martin Garbus’ devotion to ethics, justice, free speech, and the law has garnered enormous respect within the legal community, commercial and corporate sectors, and beyond. Tucker C. Stanclift was born and raised in Lake Placid, N.Y. Tucker played ice hockey there and graduated from Lake Placid Central School in 1990. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University and earned a law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. Tucker is a proud father of three boys and lives in Queensbury, N.Y. He enjoys boating on Lake George with his kids in the summer. Tucker is the founding principal of Stanclift Law, PLLC, PC. He focuses his practice area in criminal law, DWI’s, civil litigation, personal injury and vehicle and traffic law. Tucker is known for his aggressive — yet compassionate — representation of his clients. He is dedicated to the legal profession and is active in the New York State Bar Association where he held a former chair of the Young Lawyers Section and is a current officer of the Criminal Justice Section. Within the community, Tucker is active in the Theater. He previously studied Shakespeare at Oxford University and enjoys live performance. Nicholas Kaizer is a nationally -recognized expert in criminal defense, who has appeared in numerous courts around the country. He has lectured attorneys, been recognized as a top criminal defense attorney on television and has been a panelist at the U.S. Sentencing Commission annual conference, lecturing attorneys, probation officers and judges. concerning bases for non-Guideline sentences. Mr. Kaizer graduated from Boston University and the University of Miami. and is admitted in New York, Florida and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Gross has practiced law for more than 40 years after graduating from Albany Law School of Union University. In that time he has settled or tried to conclusion over 1,250 cases and handled scores of appeals. He has represented clients in cases which have been reported on television and in print media. His focus is on helping clients with divorce, custody, maintenance, child support, paternity, domestic violence and equitable distribution matters. From 1991-2002 he was a member of the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission processing real property tax protests and gained experience appraising residential and commercial property. In 2012 Mr. Gross was selected to speak on issues relating to children as witnesses in custody and neglect/abuse litigation as a panelist in the Annual Conference of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts - New York Division.

Richard B. Alderman is an experienced matrimonial attorney, highly regarded within the State of New York. A graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania College of Law, cum laude, Richard has actively practiced family law since 1969, exclusively with Alderman and Alderman. Richard was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1975. Richard is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association where he presently serves as a member of the executive committee of the Family Law Section. With fellow matrimonial attorneys and judges, Richard serves as a member of the New York State Unified Court System Committee on Family Law.
