Nathan Mulvihill has joined the Downer Law Firm after several years of law practice in New Mexico. There, Nathan began his legal career as a Trial Attorney, prosecuting misdemeanor domestic violence and drunk driving cases in the City of Albuquerque. Following his role as an ADA, Nathan was hired to be in-house counsel for the Air Quality Program within the City of Albuquerque’s Environmental Health Department. Nathan was tasked with overseeing the enforcement and administration of the Clean Air Act within the Program’s jurisdiction, and was lead counsel for several rulemakings, enforcement actions, permit applications, litigation and appeals. From there, Nathan moved to private practice where he was brought on to represent several municipalities and state agencies in similar administrative and municipal legal matters, ranging from representation at City Council meetings, rulemakings, legislation, litigation, employment matters, annexation and subdivision matters. In addition to municipal law, Nathan has also represented entities and individuals in matters involving homeowners associations, motor vehicle dealerships, personal injury, eviction, property tax disputes, misdemeanor criminal defense, and probate matters. Aside from practicing law, Nathan likes to watch football, hike in nature with his fiancée and two dogs, build Star Wars legos, and playing video games with friends.

Attorney Vance Jennings joined Brent Adams & Associates in 2004 and is now an owner/partner in the law firm. His practice mostly concentrates on Social Security Disability law, ERISA short and long-term disability claims, and private short and long-term disability claims. Vance is certified by the NC State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability law. Only a select number of attorneys receive this honor. It is not easy to become a Board Certified Social Security Benefits Specialist. Attorneys must pass a written test and take continuing education courses. They must be recommended by their peers and work substantially on cases in the Social Security Disability field. Attorney Jennings rose to the challenge and has been a specialist in this area of law since 2010. He uses his expert SSDI legal knowledge to prepare organized, strong cases for hearings and appeals. He has successfully represented thousands of clients.
