About O'Kelley
O'Kelley H. Pearson joined Hickey & Evans in 2007 as an Associate. She graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law with honors in 2007 and was admitted into the Bar in 2007 and has been inducted into the Order of the Coif. O'Kelley served as managing editor of the Wyoming Law Review and authored "Fundamentally Flawed: Wyoming's Failure to Protect a Student's Right to an Education, R.M. v. Washakie County School District Number One, 102 P.3d 868 (Wyo. 2004)," 6 Wyo. L. Rev. 587, 2006. She is admitted to practice in all Federal and State Courts in Wyoming and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. O'Kelley is a member of the Wyoming State Bar, Laramie County and American Bar Associations, American Inns of Court and formerly served on the Wyoming Mental Health Care Licensing Board.
O'Kelley graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. in international studies. She studied in a Vanderbilt University French language immersion program in Aix-en-Provence, France and worked as a Political Desk Intern at the United States Embassy in London, England as part of an Independent Study Semester.
After moving to Wyoming, O'Kelley was selected as the first full time director of Western Wyoming Community College and the Sublette Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) associate degree program.
A native of North Carolina, O'Kelley has lived in Wyoming for 20 years, the majority of which has been in Pinedale. She is married and has two children, Emily, 13 and Andrew, 12. She and her husband Mark are owner/operators of a family outfitting business in the Wind River Range.
