About Ophir

Ophir J. Bitton founded Bitton & Associates in 2007 to provide individuals and businesses with personalized client service and quality legal representation.

Ophir has been practicing law since 1999.  Ophir has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star three years in a row.  This prestigious distinction is conferred upon only 2.5 percent of lawyers practicing in the state.  Ophir’s practice entails representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters.  The majority of Ophir’s practice is focused on employment, personal injury, business, and real estate related issues.

He graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in the top 10 percent of his class.  While a law student, Ophir distinguished himself in the Honors Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Program.  Among several honors he received, Ophir earned the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates “Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice Award.”  Ophir also earned six CALI Excellence for the Future Awards.  Prior to law school, Ophir earned his MBA from the Pepperdine University School of Business, where he graduated sixth in his class.

With his educational background in law and business, Ophir was recruited out of law school by the globally renowned professional service firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (“PwC”).  Ophir spent three years at PwC providing legal consulting to Fortune 500 companies relating to business planning, State sales and use taxation, and other business and corporate matters.  After leaving PwC Ophir joined an aggressive litigation firm in Century City where his practice entailed all aspects of employment litigation and litigation prevention.  Prior to opening Bitton & Associates Ophir worked for a sophisticated boutique litigation firm dealing with employment, business, legal malpractice, real estate, and general civil litigation issues.

At Bitton & Associates, Ophir uses his diverse background to develop and implement a holistic case plan for every matter that focuses on the law, the clients' goals, and practical considerations.  With employment law cases Ophir uses his business and legal background to analyze every aspect of the employment to discovery and reveal wage irregulars and unfair and illegal business practices.  The ability to audit and calculate accurate wages has resulted in successful awards to Bitton & Associates’ clients.

Ophir has served on the executive board of the California Bar Association,  Legal Practice & Technology Section.  He is a member of the California Bar’s Employment Section.  He has also coached the Southwestern University School of Law Honors Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Program and taught as an adjunct professor.  Additionally, Ophir often speaks on employment, business and real estate issues and is a published author.

Ophir also speaks Hebrew.
