Guillermo “Will” Garces was born in the city of Camaguey, Cuba. At the age of three his family moved to the United States. When the Garces family arrived in New Jersey in 1962, Mr. Garces’ father, a licensed veterinarian physician in Cuba, began working as a custodian cleaning animal cages at a pharmaceutical company because of the language barrier. His father continued to support his family doing this work until years later when the command of the English language permitted him to take the National Board Exams and once again he became a licensed veterinarian physician here in New Jersey. Mr. Garces has not forgotten his roots to this day. He is compassionate about people from all backgrounds and all walks of life. He believes vehemently in the dignity of all mankind. His empathy for the hardships of the newly arrived immigrants is one reason why he opened a law office to working class Latinos, many of whom do not speak English. JUAN L. ICAZA, was born in Cuba in 1965. He and his family came to America in 1971 and resided in New York City. He graduated from Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School. Mr. Icaza then joined the Newark firm of Bross, Strickland, Cary & Grossman as an associate and rose to become its managing partner at the age of 29. He and Robert R. Cary formed the firm of Cary & Icaza in 1996 and in 2009 renamed the firm to Icaza & Burgess maintaining a relationship with Robert Cary as office counsel. Mr. Icaza has been practicing law since 1990 specializing in personal injury cases involving medical malpractice, lead and toxic torts, automobile accidents and products liability. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey , Federal District Court of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Icaza is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association and The Association of Trial lawyers of America. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Douglas S. Schwartz, formerly of the Union County Prosecutor's Office, joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 1999, when the name of the firm was changed to Sisselman & Schwartz, LLP. Douglas Schwartz is a practicing lawyer in the state of New Jersey specializing in Accident & Injury. Mr. Schwartz received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1991.

Lawrence A. LeBrocq, Esq. is the CEO and Managing Partner at Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq, P.C. Supported by decades of experience, he is a widely recognized authority on personal injury law. He also serves as a Superior Court Arbitrator and a Mediator for the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Coming from humble beginnings, Mr. LeBrocq knew from an early age that he wanted to be an advocate for those who needed it most. This desire to help others motivated him to become the first person in his family to go to college. Mr. LeBrocq spent the first several years of his career gaining valuable legal experience and quickly developed a passion for the complex, fast-paced, and aggressive world of personal injury law. Mr. LeBrocq has tried hundreds of personal injury cases and continually provides attention to each one of his clients. His unparalleled legal acumen and tactics of preparing each case as though it were going to be decided by a jury have resulted in several multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, recovering more than $100 million on behalf of his 2,000+ clients over the course of his career. Mr. LeBrocq has a unique perspective on prevailing trends and developments in the world of personal injury law. In particular, he has been paying close attention to tort reform in New Jersey. William (“Bill”) N. Grabler, Esq. serves as a Partner and Managing Workers’ Compensation Attorney at Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq. Drawing on more than 40 years of trial experience in Workers’ Compensation law, Bill has dedicated his practice almost exclusively to representing injured workers. Mr. Grabler is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers’ Compensation Trial Attorney, a prestigious distinction that recognizes his specialized knowledge and skill in this practice area. For three consecutive years, he has been honored as a Super Lawyers ® Top 100 Lawyer in New Jersey, highlighting his professional excellence and standing in the legal community. After completing his undergraduate education at Rutgers University, Mr. Grabler earned his law degree from Western New England College School of Law. Beyond his legal practice, he serves as a member of the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety & Health (NJCOSH), contributing his expertise to policies that protect workers statewide. Mr. Grabler remains actively involved in community outreach events and youth athletic programs in Edison Township, demonstrating his commitment to community service and development of young people. A lifelong supporter of his alma mater, Bill has been a Rutgers season ticket holder for both basketball and football for many years. I live in a great community in New Jersey, where I am actively involved in my community. My wife and I met in high school, went to college together, have been married for over 25 years, and plan to grow old together. We have three beautiful daughters who, as I accept, run my life! I have held several local positions in my town, always staying involved to help others, such as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary club, I have spent time as a baseball, softball, basketball and soccer coach, a member of the YMCA Board and Soccer Club Board. Ed has over 25 years of experience, and has honed his legal skills in areas such as Wage and Hour, Prevailing Wages and Employment Discrimination and Wrongful Termination. Ed routinely handles New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, Whistleblower and executive employment agreements, severance agreements and employee contracts. Ed has obtained successful jury verdicts in these areas. Prior to joining the firm, Ed had his own firm, where he served clients in employment law, Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial formation and Transaction and Traffic Court matters

For over 40 years, Larry has been conducting trials and appeals in both state and federal courts in employment cases including public employee cases, Lemon Law actions, products liability matters, insurance litigation (including environmental matters, toxic tort and consumer fraud), commercial and corporate litigation, franchise matters, breach of warranty, and similar matters. He has also been involved in the defense of several class action suits and has handled a variety of matters before regulatory boards and he has frequently appeared before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. Larry has experience drafting, reviewing, and counselling clients regarding employment agreements, separation agreements and employee manuals. Larry also counsels corporate clients in a variety of areas. He has assisted manufacturing clients in product recalls, preparing warnings, warranties, and owner’s manuals for various products. Larry has been involved in representing clients with matters in China and Hong Kong. In addition to his practice, Larry is Vice President and General Counsel of Foreign Tire Sales, Inc. located in Union, New Jersey.

Ed was born and raised in Essex County New Jersey. He attended Elon University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting. He then returned to New Jersey and obtained a J.D. from Rutgers Law School. He has experience litigating a variety of areas including employment law, environmental matters, toxic torts, personal injury, constitutional violations, and Title 59 claims.
