Eric L. Siegel has over 30 years of experience dedicating his practice to the litigation and resolution of business, employment, civil rights, disability rights and whistleblower disputes. Eric has tried jury and bench cases in both state and federal courts in numerous jurisdictions, including but not limited to the District of Columbia, Maryland, New York, Tennessee, and Mississippi. He formerly served as a trial attorney in the Employment Litigation Section of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division where he enforced Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. In addition, he spent the last decade working part-time in the real estate industry as an owner and developer, working on acquisition, financing, zoning, affordable housing, property management and leasing issues. Consequently, he understands first-hand the challenges facing owners, landlords and developers and approaches legal problems of real estate clients from a broader, results-driven and cost-effective perspective. He works closely with his clients to identify and fully understand their goals. Mr. Siegel has been a frequent lecturer and author on a wide array of topics, including employee work eligibility under immigration laws; compliance with wage and hour laws; emerging sexual harassment law issues; English-only rules; arbitrability of jurisdictional disputes in tri-lateral arbitration, ADA case analyses and articles on mental disability, health insurance, pre-employment inquiries under the ADA, which was published in Disability Discrimination in the Workplace (Clark Boardman Callaghan), and medical examinations and reasonable accommodation under the ADA, and litigation tactics to avoid summary judgment, publishing in several employment-related treatises.

David Sanford has recovered more than one billion dollars for individual clients and the United States government since 2004. Mr. Sanford has represented CEOs, CFOs, and COOs, as well as non-managerial, hourly employees throughout the United States. Mr. Sanford has served as lead counsel in more than 50 class actions and numerous qui tam fraud cases around the United States. David has represented over 50 General Counsels and attorneys (in house and outside counsel) in contract disputes, employment matters, and severance packages.

Tony Munter heads the False Claims Act and Whistleblower Reward practice at Price Benowitz, LLP. Tony focuses his practice on nationwide litigation and claims under the qui tam provisions of the Federal and State False Claims Acts. Tony’s goal is to make his client’s problems his problems. Along with a focus on qui tam provisions of the Federal and State False Claims Acts, Tony handles cases under the IRS Whistleblower Law and through the Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission Whistleblower Programs created by the Dodd-Frank Act. Tony has conducted seminars on the False Claims Act, including on the international application of whistleblower laws and the right of individuals to pursue claims on behalf of their government, at the Open University in Budapest, Hungary. He also taught attorneys in the U.S. on the practical requirements for pursuing False Claims Act cases at the National Whistleblower Center, in Washington, DC and at the Mass Torts Made Perfect Convention. At Price Benowitz, Tony created a new qui tam practice by advising lawyers – in particular, employment law specialists – on the procedures required to handle False Claims Act cases. With more than 20 years in the practice, he helps those attorneys determine if their clients can pursue whistleblower rewards along with employment law or retaliation cases. Background Prior to working at Price Benowitz, Tony built one of the leading national False Claims Act practices working for Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto, LLP. He helped expand the use of whistleblower reward laws to fight fraud beyond the traditional application in healthcare, to pursue claims against financial institutions. He obtained major settlements for mortgage and financial fraud claims from an international banking institution as well as against defense contractors and health care providers. Tony received his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and his JD from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. He is married and has a daughter in high school. In his spare time, he works on various school committees and enjoys travel.

Grant, a native of the Bronx, New York, is a 2002 graduate of the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies. Debora Fajer-Smith is an attorney representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury and workers' compensation matters for over 40 years in Maryland and the District. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court. Born in Sao Paulo Brazil, Debora speaks Portuguese and French. She started as an associate with another firm. She then founded her own firm in Bowie Maryland, which grew successfully to several branches in 21 years. She then merged as with another firm, and is now a partner at Price Benowitz. When not engaged in the practice of law, Debora earned her private pilot license and flew Piper Warriors. She is an accomplished novelist under the pen name Leah Kelly for children and adults. Manuel R. Geraldo is an accomplished legal professional and principal in the law firm of Robinson & Geraldo. Alexander J. Geraldo, Esq. is an experienced attorney with deep roots in Prince George’s County, Maryland. A graduate of St. John’s College High School (2006) and Temple University (2010), he developed a passion for law while working in Intergovernmental Affairs for Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III, tracking legislation in Annapolis. This experience led him to earn his Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was a member of the Civil Law Advocacy Clinic and an editor for the Journal of Land and Development. Mr. Geraldo began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for Judge Cathy H.
