Our lawyers and staff understand client's needs. Our firm is committed to providing common sense explanations of even the most complex legal issues, so that our clients are fully informed.
Since 1896, Costello, Carlson & Butzon LLP has been a presence in southwest Minnesota. The firm has always held to the highest professional and ethical standards. We have a reputation of maintaining long-term relationships with clients. We have supported the talents and endeavors of the local population. We have demanded a strong commitment to professional excellence from attorneys and encouraged their participation in civic, educational, professional and public service.
In determining the reasonableness of attorney fees, consideration is given to all the following factors: 1. The time and labor required. 2. The experience and knowledge of the attorney. 3. The complexity and novelty of the problems involved. 4. The extent of the responsibility assumed and the results obtained; and 5. The sufficiency of the assets properly available to pay the fee under the circumstances. Clients are very accepting of this type of arrangement particularly when the maximum amount to be charged is stated.
