Attorney Regina M. Brown graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1996. She then attended Slippery Rock University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was a member of Phi Sigma Pi, National Honor Society. Ms. Brown went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2003 from Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Brown participated in the University’s Law Clinic where she completed an internship with Neighborhood Legal Services, who offered free legal assistance to those in need. During her third year of law school, she was offered a paid internship at the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Upon graduating and passing the bar exam in 2003, Ms. Brown began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge George E. James in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County. She worked in that capacity for two years and then relocated to York, Pennsylvania, where she began practicing as an Assistant Public Defender.
