I was able to assist a client in resolving his shareholder issues with his partner and was able get him paid a significant amount of money from his former partner.
How did you build a successful practice?I built a successful practice by being analytical and doing a cost-benefit analysis on each and every civil case. On criminal cases, I analyze the criminal case and discuss each and every possible outcome. I am creative with my lawyering skills and routinely think outside the box. I am attentive to my client's needs and goals. Most of my clients are referrals from other clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Someone who is responsive. Someone who understands that each client is different and that each case is a set of problems that need a solution.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Local knowledge is important, especially in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?Usually I can provide a synopsis of what I see and some possible resolution and an approximation of my fees.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?I need a quick breakdown as to what the legal situation is, including time sensitive issues.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Helping my clients out of difficult situations.
