Kevin Steinberg’s passion and commitment to protecting and fighting for the rights of injured victims comes from 30 years of professional experience, as well as his own personal experience. Early in his legal career, Mr. Steinberg was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision where he sustained permanent injuries to his lower back and knees. In his free time, Mr. Steinberg takes pride in being an active member of his community. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married for over 25 years. They have four boys who are all involved in multiple sports leagues and organizations. He has devoted the last 18 years volunteering his time as a coach for his boys’ baseball, soccer, and basketball teams, and he has served as a Board Member for several community sports organizations, which he consistently did for almost 2 decades.

Kevin L. Connors is the firm’s Managing Partner, General Liability Chairperson, and Co-Chair for Workers’ Compensation. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is a legacy graduate of St. Joseph’s University (“The Hawk Will Never Die”), receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in English in 1976. Attending graduate classes at Temple University in Creative Writing, he also bartended at several local Philadelphia restaurants, including the Magic Pan, the Happy Rooster, Houlihan’s, Tavern on Green, and Rembrandts. In 1982, he received a Masters of Fine Arts from Brooklyn University in Creative Writing, studying under John Ashberry. After Graduate School, Kevin attended Villanova University School of Law, graduating in 1988. As for his law school experience, it is best described as “ask Sisyphus whether he liked rocks”. Initially practicing as a staff counsel attorney for Travelers Insurance, Kevin then worked at several prominent insurance defense firms in Philadelphia, to include Bennett Bricklin, and White & Williams. Concentrating his practice in insurance defense litigation, Kevin has extensive experience defending civil and administrative matters that involve all aspects of insurance liabilities, to include premises liability, retail liability, restaurant liability, products liability, motor vehicle liability, general negligence liability, employment practices liability, bad faith liability, insurance coverage, workers’ compensation liability, and subrogation. Kevin has defended and litigated insurance coverage matters involving declaratory judgment actions, for purposes of addressing coverage issues under commercial and personal insurance policies. Thomas P. Heeney, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1967) and was raised in Doylestown, Buck County, PA where he attended and graduated from Central Bucks High School East (1986). While in high school, Mr. Heeney was a standout cross country and track and field runner. Mr. Heeney is also an Eagle Scout, a recipient of the Union League of Philadelphia Good Citizenship Award and a recipient of the Good Citizenship Award from the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. Educationally, Mr. Heeney attended Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania where he earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree (1990) and a Master’s Degree (1991) in Public Administration. Thereafter, Mr. Heeney earned his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio (1995). Professionally, Thomas P. Keld R. Wenge is a graduate of the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America where he received his J.D. in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Wenge served as editor of CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy. He was a 2011 participant in the Columbus Community Legal Services program, which was ranked #17 nationally among clinical programs. Mr. Wenge joined Pond Lehocky Giordano in June 2013 where he dedicates his practice to Workers’ Compensation matters and serving injured workers in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, he practiced at a regional trial firm and represented the interests of injured Pennsylvania plaintiffs in state and federal major jury and arbitrational claims, including, but not limited to, construction site accidents, industrial accidents, OSHA violations, insurance bad faith, products liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation and Social Security disability matters. After joining Pond Lehocky, Mr. Wenge co-authored an article with Samuel Pond that was published in the Legal Intelligencer titled “A Subrogation Setback Provides a Framework for Lien Waivers.” He has presented to Temple University Legal Society’s law students on various occasions regarding the practice of law. Mr. Wenge is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, U.S.D.C.- Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Arbitrator of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
