About Philip

Phil Haas’s practice is focused on Business Law, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Intellectual Property Law.

Phil received an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and History from Juniata College. While at Juniata, he was a starting wide receiver on the Varsity football team and also played Varsity basketball and ran track & field. Phil continues to lead an active lifestyle, competing in local races and climbing mountains in the surrounding areas.

Phil received his law degree from Barry University School of Law, during which time he studied International Law and Human Rights Law in Madrid, Spain, Geneva, Switzerland, and Chamonix, France. While in law school, Phil was also privileged to study Maritime Law under one of the most world renowned Maritime Law experts, Barry Dubner.

Phil’s office is located in the historic Smith Tower in the heart of downtown Seattle, one block from the King County Superior Court.

Phil serves on the King County Bar Association Public Policy Committee and is an active member of the Washington Trails Association.

In his free time, Phil enjoys hiking with his family and two Australian Shepherds, trail running, summiting Washington’s highest peaks, reading, cooking and learning French. Next September, Phil plans to run the grueling Imogen Pass (14,000+ feet in elevation) mountain race in Colorado.
