Marissa Mantia-Kopa, Esq. always knew she would end up in a profession where she can use her compassion and dedication towards helping others. Born in Jacksonville, FL and raised in Central Florida, Ms. Mantia grew up inspired watching her mother, who is also a lawyer, better people’s lives. Ms. Mantia has always had a passion for being a voice to the voiceless and providing direction to those who aren't quite sure what steps to follow. During her time in law school, she was a Judicial Intern at the 18th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Civil Division. Ms. Mantia was also President of the Disability Law Society at her law school. Post-graduation, Jonathan worked at the largest insurance defense firm in Florida, handling a variety of claims including auto negligence, trucking negligence, premises liability, and first party property. Jonathan then went on to work for a nationally known medical malpractice/nursing home defense law firm, defending for some of the largest medical companies in the United States. Jonathan enjoys spending time with family and friends in his free time, however, receives the most joy by serving members of his community.
