About R.
R. KEITH STARK received his Bachelor of Administration (Finance) from the University of Notre Dame in 1966, his Juris Doctor degree from Duke University Law School in 1969 and his Masters of Law degree (Taxation) from New York University Law School in 1970.
Mr. Stark was one of the original attorneys with Stark Reagan when it was established in 1973 and is currently the Managing Partner. For over 35 years, Mr. Stark has represented closely-held businesses, business owners and individuals in a variety of business, individual, tax and estate planning matters in Michigan and Florida as well as other jurisdictions of the United States.
Mr. Stark's practice focuses on all phases of closely-held businesses from the organization of emerging enterprises to the disposition of businesses as well as succession planning and estate planning for business owners and individuals, including the more sophisticated wealth transfer techniques. Mr. Stark has significant experience in negotiating and documenting acquisitions and sales of businesses, mergers, commercial transactions and establishing various business relationships, from small start-up businesses to international joint ventures. Mr. Stark also practices extensively in the area of estate and probate law.
Mr. Stark is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Stark is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State Bar of Florida, American Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Detroit Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice in Michigan since 1969 and in Florida since 1980. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Tax Court.
