About Ramon

Ramon is a native of Mission, Texas, where he presently resides with his wife and family.  Ramon and his wife, Doreen, have four children.  Two sons in college, a daughter in High School and his youngest son in Jr. High.  Ramon moved to West Texas as a young man and attended High School in San Angelo, Texas.  He moved to Houston, Texas to attend college at the University of Houston with a football scholarship.  Ramon was a starting guard for the University of Houston Cougars for three years.  He graduated with a degree in communications and received his J.D. from the University of Houston School of Law in 1983.

Ramon became a partner in the firm of Simmons, Zwernemann, Hamilton, Fletcher & Rosales in Houston until 1989, when he and Doreen decided to return to the Rio Grande Valley to raise their children.  He was employed with The Law Offices of Ezequiel Reyna in Weslaco, Texas until 1992 at which time he went into private practice.  The Law Offices of Ramon Rosales, Jr., P.C. operated for 15 years representing the people of the Rio Grande Valley against insurance companies.  For the last 24 years Ramon has dedicated his practice to the representation of folks injured by negligent drivers from Dallas to South Texas.

Ramon joined Kittleman, Thomas & Gonzales in January of 2007 where he continues to work in the field of civil litigation. 

Ramon has a passion for young people and education.   He has taught at his church since he graduated from college.  He has served as a volunteer coach for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mission and McAllen.  He served as a board member and past president of the Boys and Girls Club of Mission.  In 1999, he was elected to the Sharyland Independent School District Board of Trustees, where he served until 2005.  In that year, Ramon was appointed by the City of Mission to serve as a Municipal Court Judge, where he continues to serve today, dedicating himself to Juvenile issues.
