About Rebecca

Rebecca L. Trifillis was born in Lewes, Delaware and is a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. Ms. Trifillis received her B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1996. She attended the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate Degree in May of 2000. While attending law school, Ms. Trifillis was a law clerk for the Dauphin County District Attorney’s office in Harrisburg, PA.

Ms. Trifillis was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2000. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judges T. Henley Graves, Richard F. Stokes and E. Scott Bradley, Delaware Superior Court, 2000-2001. Ms. Trifillis is a member and past Vice-President of the Delaware State Bar Association, a member and past President of the Sussex County Bar Association, and a member and past Treasurer of the Terry – Carey American Inn of Court. Ms. Trifillis served three years as an Associate Member of the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners, and currently holds a position as an adjunct professor at Wilmington University teaching the Education Law course to doctoral candidates. She also held a position as adjunct faculty teaching Contract Law at Delaware Technical and Community College.

Ms. Trifillis’s primary area of practice is family law (divorce, prenuptial agreements, property division, alimony, custody, visitation, child support, guardianships, protection from abuse hearings).
