Itamar "Eddie" Tehrani, founder of State Law Firm, worked his way up the chain of command in several different law offices in Los Angeles. Ranging from personal injury, to civil litigation, Mr. Tehrani has had the opportunity to be exposed to different fields of law. As such, the years of training, learning, and experience has led Mr. Tehrani to become a confident sole practitioner. Karen Jacobs has been practicing law for almost 20 years. She graduated from Loyola Law School and has been trained as a mediator. Prior to becoming a plaintiffs' attorney, Karen Jacobs was in-house counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in Southern California, giving her insight into how cases are evaluated and making her uniquely positioned to get the highest possible settlement for her clients. Karen has been a vocal advocate for clients in all phases of litigation. As a result of her skill and tenacity, she has a very high trial success rate. In her spare time Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing probono legal work for underprivileged children, the elderly, and immigrant families.

Mr. Sapir attended California State University, Northridge and graduated with a BA in Political Science, and graduated from Southwestern Law School with Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member of the California Bar, the United States District Court Bar, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal bar and the United States Supreme Court bar. Mr. Sapir’s practice is primarily civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury cases. Mr. Sapir has handled personal injury cases on behalf of clients since he was admitted to the California Bar in 2012 and has extensive experience handling such cases from A-Z. Through Mr. Sapir’s experience, he saw that clients deserved more time, attention, and an attorney who truly cared about their case. He is dedicated to obtaining the best possible resolution for injury victims and their families.

Ms. Ballon has practiced civil litigation since 2003. She has a wide range of experience, primarily in representing clients in catastrophic personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. She has worked for both the defense bar, briefly working for one of the major insurance companies, and now for many years for plaintiff’s bar. She is a Partner with our firm.
