Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I was able to assist a family from homelessness by getting a stay for them in Housing Court from eviction and a hearing in Probate Court for the mother to become guardian/conservator of her minor child so she could gain access to the minor child’s insurance inheritance from her biological father; an inheritance that would bring their monetary deficit owed to the landlord current.

How did you build a successful practice?
I worked long and hard with my husband, always striving to make sure our clients knew how much we cared for them; how hard we would work for them. We also make sure to engage in many CLE hours per year as well as take on many pro bono cases. Apparently, our hard work and caring became evident to our clients as many have contacted us time and time again and referred us to their family and friends as well.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Honest, integrity, hard work and customer service.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Extremely important. Not only to the local court system, but our local attorneys. Having this knowledge typically makes things much easier on the client.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I am happy to do a case analysis and strategy with clients. In doing so, I give them different avenues where they can pick and choose the best route to get to where they want or need to be.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I need the party’s name, the opposing party’s name, the facts of the case, and what remedy or remedies the client is seeking.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I honestly care about our clients. As such, even if it’s after 5 or 6 pm, or the weekend, barring a trial, we make sure to get back to our clients the same day that they contact us. We want all of our clients to know that their cases are important.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I absolutely LOVE being in a position to help people; to right a wrong.

What are your other interests in addition to law?
The only interest above the law are my family and friends. As for hobbies, I love the Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, horseback riding, reading, and cooking.

Are you involved in your community?
I am very involved in our community. From charitable contributions, to pro bono work, not to mention formerly coaching sports teams for our siblings and children, we strive to make sure that our community knows that they can count on us to be there!
