About Richard
I have practiced my entire career in the probate area, and I now practice exclusively in the area of probate litigation.
Practice: I began my practice in a trust department. Then I moved to private practice with Kolb, Kolb & Kolb emphasizing probate estate administration and estate planning. I began to handle probate litigation cases in 1984, primarily plaintiffs cases, but I also have represented a number of defendants such as Huntington Bank, the Salvation Army, St. Jude's Hospital, Shriner's Hospital, First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg, Ohio, and the Watch Tower Society).

Legislation: Authored legislation to waive the attorney-client and doctor-patient privilege in probate litigation; serves on committee to update Ohio Jury Instructions for will and trust contests; participated in legislation setting statute of limitations for will and trust contests; contributed to text of the Ohio Trust Code. Also, involved with trustee disclosure requirements (disclosure).
