About Robert

Mr. Jacques practices primarily in the area of municipal and domestic relations litigation.  As a municipal attorney, his practice emphasizes appropriations, eminent domain, and land use.  In this capacity, he represents individuals and corporate clients and provides support to the Law Directors for the Miami Conservancy District and the cities of Beavercreek, Centerville, Oakwood, Oxford, Riverside, and Trotwood, Ohio.  In the area of domestic relations, he represents individuals in divorces, dissolutions, post-decree matters, and domestic violence cases.   In addition, he is trained in Collaborative Law, a mutual process of terminating marriage and restructuring the family as an alternative to the often "messy" divorce.

Mr. Jacques also handles transactional work and civil litigation in the areas of administrative, commercial, construction, and real estate law.

Mr. Jacques joined Altick and Corwin in 2007, having worked previously with Hollencamp & Hollencamp and in private practice.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Dayton Bar Association, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and First Amendment Lawyers' Association, and is a past member and sub-committee chair of the Dayton Bar Association's Bar Exam and Qualifications Committee.  He is admitted to practice in all Ohio state courts, US District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, United States Tax Court, and has been admitted pro hac vice in other states.

He and his family reside in Kettering, Ohio.
