About Robert
Bob Lytle, a partner in the firm, practices in the litigation department of Szaferman Lakind. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Assistant Prosecutor in the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office in Trenton. There, he was assigned to the Special Investigations Unit, where he was responsible for overseeing the investigation and prosecution of mid to upper level narcotics dealers. In this capacity, Bob was often called upon to advise and lecture local law enforcement agencies on search and seizure issues. In addition, Bob was the Chief of the Computer Crimes and Environmental Crimes Unit. During his tenure with the Prosecutor's Office, Bob gained considerable trial experience. Among many other cases, he successfully tried two homicides to verdict.
In addition, Bob served for five years as a Deputy Attorney General in the Environmental Crimes Bureau of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. During this time, Bob investigated and prosecuted cases involving violations of New Jersey's racketeering, hazardous waste, solid waste, air pollution and water pollution control laws. As a member of the Computer Evidence Committee, he assisted in developing guidelines for the search, seizure and analysis of computer evidence.
