About Robert

Always as an evening student, Robert graduated from Montclair State University in 1984 and from Seton Hall Law University, School of Law, in 1991. Robert has over ten years of experience at a large New Jersey law firm. He is experienced in national mass tort litigation, including the Agent Orange Federal litigation, class action Asbestos matters, and the Fen-Phen Diet Drug litigation. One of Robert's most notable cases is House of Fire Christian Church v. Clifton, 379 N.J. Super. 526 (App. Div. 2005), where he successfully overturned a municipality's decision which denied a church's application to build a new church.
 
Robert is currently part of the litigation department at Gaccione Pomaco & Malanga. He is the appointed Counsel for the Union Township Board of Adjustment and the Township of Scotch Plains Planning Board. Robert is also an assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the Township of Scotch Plains. Robert is a Member of the New Jersey State and Essex County Bar Associations and also a volunteer and lecturer to newly appointed and experienced Zoning Board members for the New Jersey Planning Officials. He serves as a Senior Advisor to the Scotch Plains Fanwood Youth Baseball Association and is a very active volunteer in youth sports.
