About Robert

Robert is a managing member of the law firm and has been practicing law in Tennessee for almost a decade. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Tennessee, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Tennessee, and the United States Supreme Court. Robert is also member of the Williamson County Bar Association and the Christian Legal Society.

EDUCATION - Robert earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Florida State University (FSU) College of Law in 2000. At FSU he served as an academic tutor in Contracts, earned Academic Honors for 1998, 1999 and 2000, and was awarded the Terry Bowden, Esq. Constitutional Law Book Award.

Robert’s undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in history and political science from Samford University. While at Samford, he received multiple academic and scholastic honors including the American Citizenship Award, George V. Irons Scholarship, Robert LeLand Tindel Award, and the Mary Adeline Graves Colonial Dames Society Award. Robert also competed in NCAA Division I athletics as a four-year letterman in Cross Country and Track & Field, receiving highest honors from 1992-1996 from the Trans-American Athletic Conference.

PRACTICE - Robert has practiced in the areas of Church and Nonprofit Institutions, Business Planning (including Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Corporations, and Buy-Sell Agreements); Business Litigation (handling lawsuits involving Ford Motor Company, Newell-Rubbermaid, DHL Worldwide Express, and Taylor Made Golf Co.); Estate Planning (including Wills, Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships, and Private Foundations); Probate Litigation; and Personal Injury.

Robert has taught continuing professional education for CPAs held by Blankenship CPA Group, PLLC, 2007 and 2008, Legal Issues Affecting Nonprofit Organizations, 2006, Nonprofit Organizations, National Business Institute, 2005, and Legal Issues Affecting the Church 2001.

PERSONAL - Robert and his wife Jenna are the parents of two daughters and a son. Robert and Jenna are actively involved in their church, including teaching a Sunday school class and serving as a church deacon. He has served on a number of non-profit organizations’ boards and has coordinated various ministry projects in the local community.
