ROBERT POPESCU, Esq. graduated with a BA degree from Montclair State University cum laude. Mr. Popescu received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.He is a member of the bars of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey and of the District of Columbia.

Mr. Popescu also holds membership in the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Bars of the United States District Courts for the District of NewJ ersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of Michigan. He has contributed legal articles for several publications, including the New Jersey Law Journal. Mr. Popescu was also named and acted as President of the New York Electoral Commission for the Romanian presidential and parliamentary elections.

CASE: MB Autoatrezature v. Assigurazione Generali Practice Area: Litigation Date: Jan 01, 2009 Outcome: Won declaratory judgment for coverage and indemnification against one of the largest insurers in the world Description: Successfully prosecuted a declaratory judgment action against a large Italian insurer, in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York. The insurer disclaimed coverage, alleging various jurisdictional and contractual defenses, all of which were successfully refuted. The Court compelled the insurer to provide coverage and indemnify the insured in connection with a product liability matter - the death of a body shop worker through the explosion of a compressor.
