About Robert
Robert O. Vidas is a registered patent attorney, a founding member of the firm and of counsel to the firm. Mr. Vidas received a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1952 from the University of Minnesota where he was employed as a chemist in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1958. He founded and headed the Chemical Patent Group at Honeywell Inc., Minneapolis, which serviced the company's Corporate Research Center, Solid State Electronics Center, its semiconductor manufacturing division as well as other company divisions when inventions fell in the fields of physics, metallurgy or chemistry. In 1970 he went into private practice in Minneapolis. He has wide experience in the litigation of patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret cases as well as in the protection and litigation of chemical, physical and mechanical inventions. Mr. Vidas' experience includes service as an expert witness on patent law in several court cases.
