Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
After Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, I helped a condominium association recover over a million dollars from their insurer who denied and delayed just payment of storm related property damages. I also helped an injured woman recover her dignity and hope for the future along with payment of past and future medical bills, lost income, and just compensation from a business and shopping center who denied responsibility for causing her to fall and severely injuring her back.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who is experienced, focused, and committed to achieving just results in a timely and cost sensitive fashion. Ability and willingness of the lawyer to communicate with the client throughout the litigation process is fundamental to a positive outcome.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I enjoy being able to help people with litigation issues and provide hope at times when their lives are filled with uncertainty.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
When I'm not practicing law, I enjoy flying (private pilot) a 1950 Cessna 140A tail-dragger, golf and fishing.
Are you involved in your community?
Community activities include service as board member (and past chairman) on the Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast, a community organization which provides home health care, nursing, and hospice services.
