About Ronald
A graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, Mr. Hendricks was admitted to the Texas Bar in January 1976. Since law school, he has kept abreast of the changes in the law by exceeding each year the annual legal educational requirements of the State Bar of Texas. His legal experience has spanned several disciplines both in corporate law, military law and as a general practitioner.
However, since 1988, he has practiced primarily in the Family Law arena in the Metroplex handling in excess of 4,000 child support, custody and property distribution cases. Most recently, Mr. Hendricks was an Assistant Attorney General for the Child Support Division of the Attorney General of Texas. There he distinguished himself as a tireless advocate for the establishment, collection and enforcement of child support. He was consistently the top producer of child support obligations in his Child Support Unit and was recognized for having sucess in collecting unpaid child support obligations.
Mr. Hendricks was hired away from the Office of the Attorney General to oversee one of seven offices of a large law firm operating in the Metroplex. He immediately began to produce results and was named Attorney of the Year for the entire firm. Soon thereafter, he was appointed Vice President and Managing Attorney of the firm's Family Law Department. Under his leadership, the Family Law Department expanded and increased its financial contribution to the firm's bottom line. Leading rather than managing, he increased not only the Department's financial success but he also enhanced the legal reputation of the firm at the Courthouse. Attorneys from the firm's Family Law Department were known for ethical, professional and efficient practice before all the courts.
Mr. Hendricks has learned that clients come to him to solve their problems: to do for them what they cannot do for themselves. His experience has also taught him to approach these problems with pragmatic and straightforward solutions and techniques. He seeks to provide clients with results that are expeditious, economical, and ethical keeping within the bounds of the Rule of Law. Because of his experiences, he is well aware that negotiations and mediation may be more effective and appropriate than traditional litigation.
