About Ruth
Ruth Mijuskovic is the President of Jackson DeMarco Tidus Peckenpaugh and a member of the Firm's Board of Directors. She is an experienced business transactional attorney in the firm's corporate and business practice group. Ms. Mijuskovic is experienced in the formation, infrastructure creation, financing, operation, acquisition and disposition of both established and emerging businesses. She has structured and negotiated a variety of the transactions encountered by growing businesses, including strategic partnering and alliances; domestic and foreign joint ventures; technology development, protections and licensing arrangements; creation of domestic and international distribution arrangements; employee and executive incentive compensation arrangements, including stock option plans, and acquisitions and mergers.
Ms. Mijuskovic advises growing businesses in connection with their capital raising and financing activities, including angel and venture capital funding, private offerings, as well as debt financing. Ms. Mijuskovic gained business management experience when she served as the Chief Operating Officer for a growing technology company, where she also served as a member of the companys Board of Directors.
After graduating from law school and before starting her law practice, Ms. Mijuskovic was selected to serve as law clerk to Judge Harlington Wood, Jr., in the United States Court of Appeals (7th Circuit).
