About Ryan
Since moving to the greater Fresno Area in 2017, he has grown to love this area of California and the endless opportunities for outdoor recreation it offers. He is an avid backpacker, fisherman, and skier. He also takes advantage of the fantastic growing conditions in the San Joaquin Valley and can be found tending his garden and feeding his chickens on the weekends at his small ranchette in Madera.
Mr. Porte is an Associate Attorney with Raimondo | Miller with a practice focused primarily in the areas of employment and business litigation. He has extensive experience in defending businesses, individuals, and public entities in a wide range of civil matters including employment wage and hour claims, PAGA claims, Workers’ Compensation claims, discrimination (age, gender, sexual orientation), harassment, general negligence, breach of contract, contract enforcement, wrongful death, and premises liability claims.
Prior to joining Raimondo | Miller, Mr. Porte worked for a large law firm as well as assisted a prominent California Super Lawyer and distinguished member of the American Board of Trial Advocates start a boutique firm specializing in insurance defense. While in law school, Mr. Porte worked as a certified law clerk with both the San Francisco and Sacramento District Attorneys’ Offices, as well as completed a prestigious internship with the Honorable Lawrence J. O’Neil, then Chief Justice of the Eastern District Court of California.
