About Rylee
Rylee’s practice focuses on automobile and commercial motor-vehicle collisions, premises liability, wrongful death, and other personal injury claims. Rylee is an active member of the Alabama State Bar Association where he is a member of the Young Lawyers section as well as the Litigation section. Before joining Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys as an Attorney, Rylee worked as a law clerk for attorneys Paul A. Spina, III, and Sara Williams.
Rylee graduated from Auburn University in 2018, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. After his undergraduate studies, Rylee attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2021. During Rylee’s time at Cumberland, he focused on trial advocacy and litigation. Rylee was named Scholar of Merit of his Depositions Skills & Technology course and was a Teaching Fellow for Basic Skills in Trial Advocacy. Rylee was also an active member of Cumberland’s nationally ranked Trial Team, where he competed in several competitions, including Drexel’s Battle of the Experts and AAJ’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Rylee’s advocacy helped his team finish as Region Champions in AAJ’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition and advance to the finals in the other. During his final year on Cumberland’s Trial Team, Rylee was named the Judge James H. Roberts, Jr., Most Valuable Advocate & Trial Team Member.
Rylee was also involved in Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Board serving as Associate Director of the Parham Williams Trial Competition, Director of the James O. Haley Federal Trial Competition, and served as the Board’s treasurer.
In his free time, Rylee enjoys spending much of his time with his family, friends, and his two Labrador Retrievers, Baylor and Vulcan. Rylee is an avid hunter and also enjoys much of his free time outdoors when he is not fighting for his clients both inside and outside of the courtroom.
