Samuel Brown | Lakewood Personal Injury Lawyer

I am the founding principal of The Brown Law Firm. I have decades of experience in legal practice, focusing on commercial and residential real estate, as well as development, planning, zoning governmental affairs and compliance, and personal injury matters. I am admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania as well as numerous district courts and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals. I am also recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a qualified mediator.

I was formerly of counsel to a local firm in Jackson, NJ, and, before that, to a national firm in Pennsylvania where I managed transactions for major national clients such as Microsoft Corporation. I hold a JD from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ, where I was an editor of the Rutgers Law Review and a member of the Rutgers University Urban Legal Clinic.

I serve as counsel and am a member of the boards of many local businesses, civic organizations, and charitable institutions. Over the years in Lakewood, NJ, I have held events, seminars, and community programs to provide legal information and services for the uninformed and less fortunate. I am involved in a variety of pro bono engagements including a program I founded to assist members of the United States Armed Forces. I actively participate in the local business and real estate landscape and regularly lecture on those matters, besides my regular repertoire of lectures and classes on land use, business law, and other speaking engagements.

I have done extensive zoning and planning work in Lakewood and the surrounding communities to promote smart, sustainable growth. I am an avid cyclist, biking thousands of miles each year, and an advocate for safe biking laws.

I live in Lakewood, NJ with my wife and children.
