About Santosh
Santosh Narayan has worked in diverse areas of law including construction defect, premises liability, insurance coverage, toxic tort, labor/employment, government entity, professional liability, environmental, tax, contract, landlord/tenant and criminal matters. His experience includes being lead trial counsel on both plaintiff and defense matters, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending lay and expert depositions, and resolving cases through trial or settlement. Mr. Narayan earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee where he was on the Dean’s List. During law school, Mr. Narayan was part of the Mock Trial and Moot Court Boards, the International Moot Court Team, the National Moot Court Team and was President of the Vanderbilt Bar Association. He was awarded the Jordan A. Quick Memorial Award for outstanding leadership. Mr. Narayan was a finalist for the Student Bar Association President of the year from the American Bar Association. Mr. Narayan began his training as a trial lawyer by working for one of the most respected trial judges in Nashville, Tennessee, (Ret.) Hon. Marietta M. Shipley of the Second Circuit Court of Davidson County. Working under Judge Shipley, Mr. Narayan was exposed to the inner workings of trials. While working for Judge Shipley, he drafted an opinion employment law that was affirmed by the Tennessee Court of Appeals and profiled in the American Bar Association Journal. Mr. Narayan is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court-Central District, United States District Court-Southern District, United States District Court-Eastern District and the United States Tax Court. Prior to starting Narayan Law, Mr. Narayan worked for one of America’s largest law firms where he represented companies such as Coca-Cola and the National Broadcasting Company. Mr. Narayan is an alumni of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Trial Advocacy Project; and has tried criminal cases for the Los Angeles County City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Narayan has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 under 40” attorney in the State of California, a “Rising Star” by Superlawyers Magazine, and a “Top Attorney” by Pasadena Magazine.
