Scott M. Bennett was admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois in 2002. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois where he graduated with highest honors. In 2002, he received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois.

While in law school, Mr. Bennett held prestigious internships at the White House and the United State Senate. Upon graduation, Mr. Bennett worked as a prosecutor with the City of Chicago Department of Law. Mr. Bennett has also worked in the legal/compliance department of the Democratic National Committee in Washington, DC, during the 2004 presidential campaign. Mr. Bennett returned to Illinois in 2005, where he tried dozens of jury trials during his three years as a felony criminal prosecutor and the Traffic/DUI supervisor for the McLean County State's Attorney's Office in Bloomington, Illinois.

Mr. Bennett became an associate for the firm of Frederick & Hagle in April of 2008. His practice is concentrated in Traffic/DUI, Worker's Compensation, and Personal Injury.
