Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Without getting into confidential details, we have been successful in putting forth the voice that people hired us to be for them. We have had cases where we have successfully brought children back to the State of Colorado after one parent or the other removed the children from the state without permission and we have had cases where we were able to catch people hiding assets that ultimately meant our client was able to recover more through their divorce where they otherwise would not have been able to do so.
How did you build a successful practice?
A successful practice is built through staying in touch with our clients, constantly working on their cases and having the trial skills necessary to advance our client's rights and voices through the divorce or custody process. Additionally, we are thorough and ethical and that makes a big difference.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for someone who they can trust and who they are comfortable with. More importantly, clients should look for someone who will be realistic with expectations as well.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is very important as certain decisions within cases vary from one judicial district to the next. At Goldman Law, LLC, we practice in a variety of different jurisdictions and we have become accustomed to different outcomes for various scenarios throughout Colorado.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
We provide a lot of information. However, in person consultations are preferred. We will talk to someone over the phone if it is an absolute necessity.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
In a free consultation, you need to know the direction of a case and what needs to be done to get your case on track. Additionally, we will need to know all parties involved and what your goals are in the case.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
We are different from other lawyers and law firms because we pride ourselves on giving thorough, professional, and ethical representation. We have a lot of years of combined experience in our practice and we give every client the attention they deserve. Additionally, we are not afraid to fight in the courtroom for our client's rights.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Giving people the voice they need when they need it the most.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
My family, skiing, cooking, and music.
Are you involved in your community?
I am involved in the community as I sit on a couple non-profit organizational boards that are set up to help parents.
