Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I helped a husband and a wife who were riding a motorcycle collect damages from an aggressive insurance company. I have gotten numerous cases dismissed because of my local knowledge and familiarity with the Maryland court system.

How did you build a successful practice?

I built a successful practice by being trustworthy and responsive. My local knowledge in the courts and the community gives me an edge over the competition. I worked for two of the preeminent judges in Maryland. This gave me a unique perspective that hugely advantages my clients.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

The number one reason a client should hire an attorney is because they trust them. The second reason is are they familiar with the courthouse that you have your case in.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is everything. Knowing how the local judges decide the case is of utmost importance. Also, knowing the prosecutors and courthouse staff is vital to your case. Do not hire an attorney that does not have local ties to the community. Ask the attorney if their Anne Arundel office is their main office or their satellite office. This is a key difference maker.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I provide an overview of how I believe the potential client's case should progress in that particular courthouse.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I have worked for the head judge of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. I interacted with every single judge in that courthouse as well as others in the Anne Arundel District Courts in Annapolis and Glen Burnie. I was born and raised in the Annapolis area. This unique perspective to the jurisdiction I believe puts my clients in the best possible position in respect to their cases.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The most reward aspect of my job is seeing so many of my client's position in their case greatly improve once they hire me. Giving my clients the maximum amount of compensation that they are entitled to is rewarding. Also, getting tough cases outright dismissed for my clients is tremendously rewarding.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I'm an Anne Arundel guy through and through. I played lacrosse, football and basketball growing up. I am highly involved with giving back to the local community. I am a member of the Anne Arundel County Community Foundation's ""Great Give"" Steering Committee.
